Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Lumen Vale Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Charleston plant, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer orders at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Charleston. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
