Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (remote)

Northwind Ashton Foods is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
