Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Providence, RI)

Highbridge Thistle Pharma is a pharmaceutical company in Providence producing generic and specialty treatments. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We work to strict standards and value careful documentation. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to quality documentation at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support quality documentation. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
