Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Pittsburgh, PA)

Silverline Forge Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Pittsburgh, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 45 people based in Pittsburgh. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Pittsburgh. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
