Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Philadelphia, PA)

Ironwood Forge Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Philadelphia, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia. • We reply to every applicant.
