Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Oakland, CA)

Highbridge Sparrow Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Oakland, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. We reward reliability. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to customer tracking at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
