Ironwood Ember Press is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for bindery work, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to bindery work at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support bindery work. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Memphis. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
