Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Ridge Construction and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We reply to every applicant.
