Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Kansas City, MO)

Cedar Sparrow Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Kansas City, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. Food safety is non-negotiable and we train for it. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Kansas City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
