Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Umber Freight and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be supplier orders. You would join a small organisation of about 14 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Kansas City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
