Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jackson, MS)

Bluepeak Drift Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep stock linked to procurement at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support procurement. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
