Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jackson, MS)

Highbridge Pike Markets serves neighbourhoods around Jackson with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. Managers started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to online orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support online orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
