Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jackson, MS)

Stonegate Yarrow Hospitality operates hotels and event venues around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep stock linked to housekeeping schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support housekeeping schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
