Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jackson, MS)

Rivermark Ivory Freight is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 549 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to claims at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support claims. • Experience with an ERP system.
