Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Willow Markets is a Jackson retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • We reply to every applicant.
