Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Houston, TX)

Cedar Thistle Auto Group is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for warranty claims, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to warranty claims at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support warranty claims. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Houston. • We reply to every applicant.
