Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Grand Rapids, MI)

Foxglove Linden Foods Group is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for cold storage, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 12 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
