Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Buffalo, NY)

Summit Meadow Housing is a nonprofit housing provider in Buffalo. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of about 568 people based in Buffalo. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to waiting lists at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support waiting lists. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Buffalo. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
