Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Baltimore, MD)

Northwind Cross Foods is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on supplier orders for production batches, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 643 people based in Baltimore. What you will do • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
