Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Meridian Foods Partners is a Austin food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
