Senior Purchasing Coordinator - supplier orders (Austin, TX)

Clearpath Meridian Foods produces packaged foods at its Austin plant, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our supplier orders. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Austin. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
