Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Tucson, AZ)

Fernwood Amber Construction is a Tucson contractor with project managers, trades and support staff, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Good people move up quickly. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Tucson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
