Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Savannah, GA)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Basin Civic Services and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to permits at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support permits. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Savannah. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
