Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (San Jose, CA)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Rowan Foods and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in San Jose. What you will do • Keep stock linked to customer specifications at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support customer specifications. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in San Jose. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
