Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Salt Lake City, UT)

Fernwood Birch Freight coordinates shipments and warehousing around Salt Lake City. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Salt Lake City. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
