Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Rochester, NY)

Harborlight Pike Construction is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for materials orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to materials orders at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support materials orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
