Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Rochester, NY)

We are growing our team at Bluepeak Sable Manufacturing and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to scrap and rework at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support scrap and rework. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
