Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Lakeside Foods makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Boise. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We like people who take pride in what they make. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to production batches at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production batches. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Boise. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
