Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Foxglove Wren Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Des Moines, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to carrier rates at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support carrier rates. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Des Moines. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
