Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

We are growing our team at Highbridge West Freight and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 782 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Orlando. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
