Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Fernwood Markets operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Seattle, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. We are friendly and busy, especially on weekends. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to store inventory at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support store inventory. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
