Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Northwind Pike Markets is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for shrink and waste, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 924 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
