Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Stonegate Birch Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Cleveland. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 47 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
