Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Cobalt Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Hartford region. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to subcontractor invoices at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support subcontractor invoices. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Hartford. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
