Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Highbridge Vale Manufacturing Partners is a Austin manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to tooling at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support tooling. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with a monthly team day in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
