Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Lumen Ashton Foods is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for ingredient orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to ingredient orders at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support ingredient orders. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Omaha. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
