Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (remote)

Amberfield Drift Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Austin, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 520 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Keep stock linked to safety inspections at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety inspections. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
