Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Providence, RI)

Cedar Sable Markets is a Providence retailer with stores, a distribution centre and online ordering. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. We like people who know our customers by name. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to shrink and waste at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support shrink and waste. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Providence, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
