Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Philadelphia, PA)

Fernwood Junction Construction delivers building projects for owners across the Philadelphia region, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 237 people based in Philadelphia. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to project schedules at sensible levels. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support project schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Philadelphia, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
