Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Omaha, NE)

Bright Wren Freight is a Omaha logistics company with trucks, warehouses and dispatch. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to dock schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support dock schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Omaha, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
