Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Jackson, MS)

We are growing our team at Lumen Amber Early Learning Group and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 43 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to enrolment at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support enrolment. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
