Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Houston, TX)

Silverline Glen Foods Group makes sauces, snacks and prepared meals in Houston, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Houston. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Houston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
