Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Rivermark Quarry Farms and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. Seasons are busy and the rest of the year is for planning. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to cold storage at sensible levels. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support cold storage. Working arrangement • Full-time, with a steady weekday schedule. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
