Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Lumen Thistle Early Learning is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for meal programmes, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to meal programmes at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support meal programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We reply to every applicant.
