Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Vista Manufacturing is looking for a Senior Purchasing Coordinator. The job centres on price comparison for production lines, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to production lines at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support production lines. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
