Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Grand Rapids, MI)

Highbridge Ivory Foods Group is a Grand Rapids food manufacturer supplying grocers and food-service customers, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Keep stock linked to sanitation schedules at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support sanitation schedules. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
