Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Fresno, CA)

We are growing our team at Lumen Fern Freight and adding a Senior Purchasing Coordinator whose main responsibility will be price comparison. You would join a large organisation of about 312 people based in Fresno. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Keep stock linked to loads and lanes at sensible levels. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support loads and lanes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Fresno. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
