Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Detroit, MI)

Lumen Analytics serves neighbourhoods around Detroit with fresh food and everyday goods. We are hiring a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to take on price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Keep stock linked to promotions at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support promotions. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Detroit, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
