Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Detroit, MI)

Fernwood Cross Facilities cleans and maintains buildings for schools, offices and hospitals around Detroit, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would join a small organisation of about 22 people based in Detroit. What you will do • Keep stock linked to safety inspections at sensible levels. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. What we are looking for • Organised and courteous with suppliers. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. Nice to have • Experience with an ERP system. • Knowledge of suppliers that support safety inspections. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
