Senior Purchasing Coordinator - price comparison (Des Moines, IA)

Fernwood Granite Manufacturing Group makes precision components in Des Moines, and we need a Senior Purchasing Coordinator to lead our price comparison. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Place and track purchase orders with suppliers. • Match invoices to orders and resolve differences. • Compare prices and delivery times and recommend where to buy. • Maintain supplier records and contracts. • Keep stock linked to work orders at sensible levels. What we are looking for • Experience in purchasing, procurement or inventory. • Strong spreadsheet and negotiation skills. • Organised and courteous with suppliers. Nice to have • Knowledge of suppliers that support work orders. • Experience with an ERP system. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
